Lewis Memorial Christian Village:Exists to honor God by serving the aging with excellent care and support. LMCV offers its senior adult residents a choice of services and amenities that are needed to support a high quality of life with love, care, and respect. Each month there are numerous individuals who volunteer at LMCV.

Inner City Mission:Exists to reduce homelessness using a Christian perspective to identify and confront its root causes. Shelter, food, clothing, support, and Christian counseling and education are offered at Inner City Mission.

Beerlahai Roi Women's Ministries:

Since 1998, Beerlahai Roi Women's Ministries has provided shelter, food, clothing, and mentoring and has assisted with other practical needs to homeless pregnant women in a loving Christian environment. Services are available free of charge to women during pregnancy up to eight months following childbirth. Residents must be 18 years of age or older. Hosting baby showers for the residents is one way RCC small groups have supported the Home.

Reading Mentoring Program:Volunteers from RCC and the Springfield area meet with children one-on-one at McClernand Elementary School over the lunch period to help the children practice their reading. Volunteers commit to one school year and choose which day of the week (Tues, Wed, or Thurs), which age group (1st-5th grades), and which lunch period (11:40-12:00 or 12:15-12:35). The Reading Mentoring Program begins in October and runs the duration of the school year. In addition to the Reading Mentoring Program, volunteers are needed to supervise and to help students check out books in the newly created Reading Lounge. The Lounge is available as an alternative to recess on Mondays and Fridays from 11:40-12:50. Contact Heidi Wareham for more information.

Lake Springfield Christian Assembly:Exists to bring those who do not yet know Christ into a personal relationship with Him through camps, conferences, and rallies.  Numerous individuals from RCC attend LSCA each summer as well as many who help provide maintenance before the summer camps, canned goods, kitchen help, etc.

Christian Student Fellowship:Todd & Gretchen Magruder serve with CSF on the campuses of the University of Illinois-Springfield and Lincoln Land Community College. They are connecting students with God and helping them grow into transformed followers of Christ through opportunities such as: small group Bible studies, evangelism, worship, prayer, missions, and building community with other Christian students. Throughout the school year, there are many opportunities for Sunday school classes, small groups, individuals, and families to prepare and serve free food to the college students. Contact Gretchen for more information.
