Gretchen and I started attending RCC in 1992. It was the staff and elders at RCC in the early 90's who challenged and encouraged us to plant a campus ministry (CSF) at the University of Illinois Springfield, where I served as campus minister for 20 years. We have 3 daughters: Sarah (19), Sophia (17), and Selah (15). Currently, I'm employed by the State of Illinois and enjoy serving as a High School Youth sponsor and in RCC's Early Childhood department.

We became members in 2006. Lisa is on staff here at the church as the Early Childhood Director, and teaches in the pre-school, I work for the state in the Department of Revenue.

In my spare time, you can find me in my workshop woodworking, working on a car, motorcycle, or whatever is broken at the time. As an Elder team member, I will continually seek God’s guidance for RCC’s role in our community, in missions, in outreach, in ministry, and wherever He leads.
