Each Sunday morning we offer a teen worship service for students in junior high and high school! This service, designed to challenge students in their desire to know Jesus and grow in love, starts at 9:15 in the Student Center. Come early for music, ping pong, and video games!
The transition from kid to young adult can be a tough one, filled with many questions. The Bridge is here to help! Junior High Students meet in the Student Center on Wednesdays (September through April) from 6-7:45pm. It’s a great time to connect with Christ and other students! We'd love to hang out with you!
High school is a busy time, pouring over books and cramming for exams (because we all love to learn, right?!). Fusion is designed for High School students to be a place where they feel welcomed, loved, and valued, especially in a time where it seems we are being pulled in a million different directions. We meet on Sunday nights from 6:30-8:30pm during the school year (September-April), where you can expect to see community and progressive discussions about faith, culture, and life in general. Come check us out!
A campus ministry at the University of Illinois at Springfield was founded in partnership with RCC in 1993, at then Sangamon State University. CSF exists to help students find their way back to God and desires to mobilize students to impact their campus and change the world for Christ. Students help lead a Friday night worship service on campus called The Edge, small group Bible studies, service projects, and mission trips. CSF is part of the Association of Collegiate Ministries, an affiliation of Independent Christian Church campus ministries all over the world. Click here for more information about how RCC small groups and Sunday School classes can get involved with serving a Friday night meal for CSF, adopting an International Student, or supporting the ministry in other ways.
