“Trust in the lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path” Proverbs 3:5-6
We have missed you and we are thrilled to welcome you back!!!!
We know how hard this last year has been on everyone, especially our residents. With better protocols and sanitization standards we are ready for visitors and look forward to finishing out the summer and starting up the fall with visiting hours, so why not make your plans to visit today!
It has been so nice being able to have our residents eating in the dining room once again. The sound of their sweet voices makes all of us feel blessed to serve them. Chapel programs did not cease last year but it just was not the same as having our residents all worshipping together.
Now that our in-person services have resumed at Lewis, the singing is better, the fellowship is sweeter, and the communion table is once again the focal point of our time together. Even though we may still be some distance from complete normalcy, thank you as always for standing with us, encouraging us and help us navigate whatever the future may bring our way!
Yes, we still must wear mask, and we still need temperature checks, but how wonderful it is to be able to look into the eyes of our precious residents without a window of glass separating us! Thank you for uplifting the Lewis residents with food, companionship, prayer, and Bible study.
Would you please pray today for comfort and peace for all the residents in our community? Pray also for new residents and their family members who will come to Lewis today and in the future. Pray for our staff. This has also been a difficult period in their lives. They have been and continue to be on the front lines of care and support for our residents. And finally, please pray for those who may not have much more time left in this world but have the promise of eternal life with their Lord and Savior Jesus!
