The Only One Who Can

My favorite thing about being a Christian is the redemption that comes with it.  The idea that all of my mistakes, all of my failures, and all of my hatred, anger, and addictions are wiped clean.  When God looks at me He doesn’t see what I have done.  He now sees His son Jesus standing in my place.  Jesus took on all of my sins and offered me forgiveness and a new life, even when I thought it was impossible.

God is a God who does the impossible.  He made a way for Israel to escape Egypt by parting the Red Sea(Exodus 14).  He made a valley of dry bones come to life before the prophet Ezekiel(Ezekiel 37:1-14).  He healed the broken, blind, and demon possessed surrounding Jerusalem (Matthew 8).  He now offers to turn your grave(your seemingly dead, hopeless, and lonely situation) into a garden.

You turn graves into gardens

You turn bones into armies

You turn seas into highways

You’re the only one who can

He wants to breathe new life into your lungs.  He wants to create something beautiful in you.  He wants you to know you are loved and cherished.  He wants your life to be a reflection of His.  There is nothing better than God in this life, and the best part is that a relationship with Him is free.

Come before Him today.  Call to Him.  Cry out to Him.  He is waiting to turn your mourning into dancing.

What has God redeemed you from?
